Neglected work. . .

I finally brought this table in from the garage to finish--I guess when I finish the "thought" that the Lord sends me, I figure I'm done!

This is River of Life from Revelation 22:1-5

1 Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb 2 down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. 3 No longer will there be any curse. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city, and his servants will serve him. 4 They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads. 5 There will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light. And they will reign for ever and ever.

It's not done yet? What's left to do? I had a table in my garage with plans to do a mosaic that moved with me from Texas. I could never figure out how to carry it out the way I envisioned.

This has a "random balance" that settles me. That's a challenge for me with unpatterned mosaics.

Aside from that phenomonal feat - I LOVE the vision you've portrayed. It's beautiful!

Thanks, missy-you always elaborate when you compliment--that gives me such feedback that He is truly giving me good stuff to do. I seriously would not be able to do this kind of stuff on my own...I hope it's no left alone for too much longer!
Thanks, maggie! Much appreciated.

hi...this is my very first visit and please accept my compliments.

We both have an interest in God and art and this is an introduction and invitation to my blog and if you would like to make a counter visit I would like to stop by again regularly to comment.

Do you like books and have you read any books by Salman Rushdie? I feel your blog is very interesting and worth my time...also I feel we can learn from each other.

Hope to see you soon.
With my very best wishes
